About A Fist Full of Dollars
We started this site because we were tired of "make money online" content that was either scammy, outdated, or written by people who'd never actually tried the thing they were recommending.
What We Do
We research, test, and write about legitimate ways to make extra money — side hustles, gig economy apps, cashback strategies, bank bonuses, and more. Everything we publish is something we've either tested ourselves or researched thoroughly enough to stand behind.
We don't do MLM. We don't promote "passive income" schemes that require recruiting your friends. We focus on strategies that can realistically generate $100–$1,000/month for a normal person with a day job.
Our Team
Sara Mitchell
Gig Economy Editor
Sara has 8 years of experience writing about personal finance and the gig economy. She's personally driven for DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Instacart across three different cities, and has tested nearly every survey and cashback app on the market. She brings a boots-on-the-ground perspective to everything she writes.
Jake Thompson
Personal Finance Editor
Jake spent a decade in consumer banking before pivoting to personal finance writing. He specializes in bank products, checking account bonuses, and cashback strategies — the kind of financial moves that most people overlook because they sound too simple to be real.
Editorial Policy
We maintain a strict separation between our editorial content and our monetization. We earn revenue through affiliate links — when you click a link and sign up for a product, we may earn a commission. This does not influence our rankings or recommendations.
Products are ranked based on our assessment of their actual value to readers: payout rates, fees, ease of use, and our own experience. We do not accept payment for positive coverage.
Every article is reviewed for accuracy before publication and updated when offers or terms change. If you spot an error, please contact us.
